Today’s Ministry Monday is YWAM.  

Andrew and I were blessed to serve in youth groups for the past ten years of our marriage and in that time saw several of our graduated youth go on mission trips through Youth with a Mission (YWAM).  

Many of you know that this year from January till April our family had the opportunity to serve at the YWAM Orlando base in Florida. Serving in a YWAM community was such a blessing and I am so blessed by the people we met there.  

If you are looking for a way to give to the Lord with your family, consider a local YWAM base.  Whether you go through disciple training school and serve overseas or stay on campus and do various work projects you are sure to receive more than you give.  There is something unique about the way it feels to come into a community of believers and step away from the world for a spell.  

Maybe instead of that family vacation you could spend time as a Mission Builder working with your family at a YWAM base and making memories you will never forget.  Let’s learn to serve and teach our children what we are learning.  

Visit ywam.org for information about getting involved at a mission base near you.  God called us to go out into all the world and make disciples of men.  If we can’t go out we can facilitate those who can.
